Now the festivities have come to an end, once again we’re counting the costs of all the celebrating, the drinking, the feasting, and most of all the rather large outgoing expenses. This is the month the majority of us are having to tighten our belts and hang in there until February, and we know it’s not the easiest thing to do.
As the new year begins, we have hopefully lots of exciting things to look forward to in 2021. There’s been a lot of doom and gloom for the past year or so and some of us could do with a few things to cheer ourselves up with. A great idea is to look ahead positively and buy something that will put a constant smile on your face every time you jump into your newly purchased convertible car (only when it’s not freezing or wet!).
December 20th 2019 famously became FRANTIC FRIDAY as motorists in their droves hit the UK’s road networks, making driving conditions highly stressful at the best of times. For many, with their work done and dusted for 2019, their festive holiday season had started. More commuters on the road in 2021, isolating and keeping safe in their own vehicles.
Do you remember when the first lockdown occurred? For the first few weeks we enjoyed the freedom of not having to go and work and being able to take time off school or not having to do the daily commute, and having that extra hour in bed. But after time, the days and nights started to drag and drag. Eventually we were all hoping to see the end of Covid as soon as possible, and when things finally started to improve, the second wave struck.
As we’re getting stuck into another lockdown, we’re getting into new habits, new ways of living, new ways of coping, and being reluctantly isolated from the outside world. The light at the end of the tunnel, is the breakthrough of the new vaccine introduced by several pharmaceutical companies.
